Introduction

Hello there my name is Kevin Murphy and this is my very first blog about creating my very first windows Universal application in C#.

I'm a second year software development student and this app is also a project for my Application Development module.

Over the next few weeks i will blog about my progress on the app from the planning stages right up until completion .....hopefully:)

I will be using combination of Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 and Blend to design and code the application. I will be blogging about the processes involved and about the challenges i face and overcome along the way, I also hope to include screencasts of live coding along with demonstrations of the features of the app and finally a walkthrough of the finished app once completed.

So over the next few weeks i hope you enjoy reading about and watching my progress along with the trials and tribulations i face along the way.
